Our annual Membership drive for 2013 occured in January & Febuary.   Membership forms were mailed out with the January Pumper newletter. If you are still interested in becoming a memeber, you can pick a form up at the Musuem or download one from the link below.  The Membership drive culmunated with our Annual Dinner held on February 23, 2013.  Our dinner was catered by Sonny Pollard and, after conducting some Museum business, we heard guest speaker Michael Semas.   He spoke about his vintage postcards, dating from 1905 through 1945, featuring scenes from the western San Joaquin Valley and the oil industries.  Some of the pictures and postcards are unique views of Taft, Fellows, Maricopa and the surrounding oil fields.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the museum you can still join.  Please call (661) 765-6664 during business hours.  The Museum is open from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM Thursday through Saturday and is open Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.  The money you contribute now becomes, in great part, our operating money for the coming year.  All money given to the Museum is tax deductible.

They receive free the Pumper, our quarterly newsletter.  Members may go on tours arranged to interesting places and museums.  They may take part in all the special events planned each year.  Members also have the satisfaction of knowing they are helping to preserve our history.
